Brand Story

POWER&D is an innovative brand within the Addtech-Group, established through the merger of Cumatix and EK Power Solutions. Together they strengthened POWER&Ds position in the Nordic manufacturing industry by offering broader and more efficient solutions within power electronics and controlled motion. 

  

Cumatix background provides POWER&D with deep expertise in controlled motion as well as motor and servo components. Since the 1980s, Cumatix has valued secure and long-term partnerships with its customers and suppliers while continuously developing new components and technologies. EK Power Solutions contributes with specialized knowledge in power electronics, built on experience since 1978. By combining their strengths, the two brands have enabled more optimized solutions under the same brand.  

 

The name reflects the heritage of both companies where "POWER" represents the expertise in power electronics and controlled motion, and "R&D" (Research & Development) symbolizes the focus on continuous innovation and development. 

  

POWER&D offers a comprehensive portfolio of services and products with customized solutions. The aim is to create technical solutions in a simple and effective way across various industries such as, automation, medical technology, rail, construction, defence, aerospace and the heavy industry.  

  

Our services are delivered by an in-house team that is involved throughout the whole process, offering excellent competence in design and development of embedded software and mechanical designs. We provide services in power conversion, motor control, PCB layouts, EMC analysis and various test.  

 

POWER&D also supplies customer-specific products such as servo motors, resolvers, brakes and clutches. These products are developed with a strong focus on performance and a commitment to high-quality and sustainable development.
